Junior Golf Philosophy

Our goal is to help your child develop a love of the game that will last a lifetime!

At Canongate Performance Centers, we believe golf should be taught in a safe, fun, self-paced, and non-threatening environment. Whether your child is a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player, you will find a program that fits their age, skill level, and golf goals.

Junior Golf Lessons & Clinics at Canongate Golf Performance CenterLessons & Clinics

Canongate Performance Centers offer a variety of clinics for players of all skill levels and ages. In addition to offering your child a fun, skill-appropriate environment, these clinics allow juniors to meet and play with other juniors who share their interests. Private lessons allow students to receive individualized instruction for fast-paced improvement.

Awards & Recognition

We believe that commitment to improvement is the key to becoming a better golfer. At Canongate Performance Centers, we both recognize and reward improvement and the commitment to improving. At the start of each Junior Series or Camp, juniors are given a Performance Center hat which they use to hold different pins earned throughout the series when they master certain skills. These pins create not only a drive to succeed, but they also serve as a reward that symbolizes completion of a goal.

Family Involvement & Play

Because golf is a lifetime sport, all members of the family can participate and enjoy it! We believe that in addition to building strong character in individuals, golf builds strong family bonds. Family play is not only welcomed, but encouraged at all Canongate courses. Call your favorite course and find out what day of the week is family play day. The course encourages family play at all times, but on one day each week, the course allows juniors to play for free when accompanied by an adult, and often designates nine holes to allow families “unrushed” time to enjoy the course.

Competition

Competition is the best way to test what you are working on with your instructor, and it prepares juniors for both high school and collegiate play.
